Your guide meets you at your hotel and together you cross into the heart of Beyoğlu, where narrow streets, galleries and cafés fill with locals finishing work. From a carefully chosen rooftop, you get your first wide view: the domes of the Old City, the Galata Tower, the Bosphorus Bridge and the slow movement of ferries below.

After a short walk through lively backstreets, you sit down for dinner at a restaurant selected for its quality rather than its loud music. The menu focuses on well‑prepared Turkish meze, grilled dishes and seasonal specialties, with your guide happy to explain each dish and help you choose wines or non‑alcoholic pairings. There is time to talk about everyday life in Istanbul as well as history.

Later, you stroll towards the water to feel the night breeze and see the city from a different angle – perhaps from Karaköy’s waterfront or along the Galata Bridge where anglers still cast their lines. At the end of the evening your private vehicle takes you back to your hotel, so you finish the night comfortably, without needing to negotiate with taxis.

Hotel Pick-Up & Drive to Beyoğlu

Time: 18:30 – 19:00 (seasonal)
Location: Your hotel lobby (central Istanbul)

Your guide meets you at your hotel and you travel together by private vehicle or taxi to the Beyoğlu district, where locals gather after work. Along the way, you get an introduction to the neighbourhoods you pass and how Istanbul’s evenings unfold.

Rooftop Welcome Drink & City View

Time: 19:00 – 20:00
Location: Rooftop terrace in Beyoğlu

Start the evening with a welcome drink on a rooftop terrace that overlooks the Old City, Galata Tower and the Bosphorus. Your guide points out landmarks and gives you time to take photos as the sky darkens and the mosques and bridges light up one by one.

Fine Dining in Beyoğlu or Karaköy

Time: 20:00 – 21:30
Location: Selected restaurant in Beyoğlu or Karaköy

Walk a short distance to a restaurant chosen for its kitchen, service and calm atmosphere. Enjoy a sequence of meze, grilled dishes and seasonal specialties while your guide explains the flavours and ingredients. You can ask as many questions as you like about food, culture and daily life.

Night Walk & Waterfront Views

Time: 21:30 – 22:30
Location: Streets of Beyoğlu & waterfront

After dinner, take a gentle stroll through side streets and down towards the water. See illuminated mosques in the distance, listen to live music drifting from small venues and feel the different rhythm of the city at night. Depending on the evening, you may walk along the Galata Bridge or pause at a café for tea or dessert.

Return Transfer to Hotel

Time: 22:30 – 23:00
Location: Back to your hotel

Your guide escorts you back to your hotel by private vehicle so you can finish the night comfortably. On the way, they can suggest other neighbourhoods and venues to explore on your own during the rest of your stay.

Yes. The walking pace is gentle and we avoid overly loud or smoky venues. If you are travelling with children, we choose a restaurant with an appropriate menu and can shorten or adapt the walking section to suit your family.

Is dinner included in the price?

For private tours, dinner is usually paid directly at the restaurant so you can choose freely from the menu. We are happy to make reservations and suggest dishes. If you prefer a fixed‑menu, pre‑paid option, this can be arranged at the time of booking.

How should we dress for an evening out?

Smart‑casual clothing is ideal. Many guests choose long trousers or dresses and a light jacket or shawl, especially outside the summer months. Comfortable shoes are important, as some streets are cobbled or slightly sloped.

Which areas are covered by the hotel pick-up?

Pick‑up and drop‑off are available from most hotels in central Istanbul on the European side, including Sultanahmet, Sirkeci, Karaköy, Galata, Taksim and parts of Şişli. If you are staying in a different area, we can arrange a central meeting point or a separate transfer.
